GITIS actively participates in various international projects as well as hosts its own festivals, conferences, lectures and workshops.



Student scientific conference “Perspective”

2020 December 10–12

We invite undergraduate students studying the history of art, theatre studies, philology, stage directing, choreography and stage design to participate in the conference.




Previous years

Over the past 17 years GITIS has organized 276 international events welcoming theatres and students from Greece, Israel, China, Spain, Serbia, Estonia, the United Kingdom and former Soviet republics.

Applying for the QS World Merit Scholarship

February 1–June 20

As a partner of the QS World Merit Scholarship, GITIS announces an 500-word essay contest.

Instructions on how to apply

To participate, you must send an application in a free form to the email address inter-program@gitis.net (FULL name, nationality, age, education, chosen course) and attach a short essay about their activities to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the answer to the question why should I study in GITIS? In the subject line: QS World Merit Charity.
