International projects

GITIS actively participates in various international projects as well as hosts its own festivals, conferences, lectures and workshops.



Student scientific conference “Perspective”

2020 December 10–12

We invite undergraduate students studying the history of art, theatre studies, philology, stage directing, choreography and stage design to participate in the conference.




Previous years

Over the past 17 years GITIS has organized 276 international events welcoming theatres and students from Greece, Israel, China, Spain, Serbia, Estonia, the United Kingdom and former Soviet republics.

GITIS starts two Summer theater courses for foreign students

August

Students from China and Great Britain started two week drama courses at the GITIS Summer school.

They are from the Shanghai Theatrical Academy (China) and East 15 Acting School (University of Essex, UK).

Within two weeks they will master in acting, directing and stage movement. British students will also work on the Anton Chekhov’s play Seagull.

All lessons of the Summer school are conducted by leading GITIS specialists.
